The Workbench Image Maker is the component that will create the images of the machines. Once everything is properly installed on the machine to be imaged, it is booted from the Main Server via PXE. The user simply selects the folder where the image will be stored and the Workbench software does the rest automatically, creating a highly optimized image of the drive, storing the file on the image server and updating the database so it can be easily retrieved later.
Image Maker can create images of standard Windows, Mac OS and Ubuntu Linux installations. GPT partitions are fully supported on UEFI machines, and images can also be created from NVMe drives.
